Number Plate Terms & Conditions

Thank you for choosing Lycan Auto Care Ltd for your registration plate purchase. By placing an order with us, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Registered Number Plate Supplier

Lycan Auto Care Ltd is a DVLA Registered Number Plate Supplier.

Register of Number Plate Suppliers (RNPS) Registration Number: 75919

We manufacture and supply registration plates in accordance with all applicable UK legislation and DVLA requirements.

2. Proof of Identity & Entitlement

In accordance with UK legislation, we are legally required to verify your identity and your entitlement to display the registration mark before manufacturing your registration plates.

Examples of accepted documents include:

Proof of Identity

  • Driving Licence
  • Passport
  • Utility Bill
  • Council Tax Bill
  • Bank or Building Society Statement

Proof of Entitlement

  • Vehicle Registration Certificate (V5C)
  • Certificate of Entitlement (V750)
  • Retention Document (V778)
  • New Keeper Supplement (V5C/2)
  • Temporary Registration Certificate (V379)
  • Any other documentation accepted by the DVLA

Orders will not enter production until all required documentation has been received and successfully verified.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order where satisfactory documentation cannot be provided.

3. Customer Responsibilities

By placing an order, you confirm that:

  • The registration mark provided is correct.
  • You are legally entitled to display the registration mark.
  • All documents submitted are genuine, accurate and belong to you.
  • You have checked all characters, spacing and details before submitting your order.

Once production has commenced, changes or amendments cannot be made.

Lycan Auto Care accepts no responsibility for errors submitted by the customer during the ordering process.

4. Road Legal Registration Plates

Our registration plates are manufactured in accordance with current UK legislation.

It is the customer's responsibility to ensure the plates remain legally displayed and fitted to the vehicle.

Any alteration to the supplied registration plates, including spacing, font, fixing method or construction, may make them unlawful for road use.

5. Production & Delivery

Orders with approved documentation received before 3:00pm (Monday to Friday) are normally dispatched the same working day.

Orders received after 3:00pm, on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next working day.

Orders are dispatched using Royal Mail 24.

Estimated delivery is 1–3 working days.

Delivery estimates are provided as guidance only and cannot be guaranteed.

6. Returns & Refunds

Registration plates are personalised products manufactured specifically for each customer.

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, personalised goods are exempt from the standard cancellation rights once production has commenced.

Returns or refunds will only be accepted where:

  • The item has been manufactured incorrectly.
  • The product is faulty.
  • The product arrives damaged.

Any issues must be reported within 48 hours of delivery, together with photographs where appropriate.

7. Order Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled prior to production.

Once manufacture has commenced, cancellations, amendments or refunds are no longer possible unless the product is faulty or has been manufactured incorrectly.

8. Refusal of Orders

Lycan Auto Care Ltd reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order where:

  • Required documentation is missing or invalid.
  • Identity or entitlement cannot be verified.
  • Fraudulent, altered or misleading documentation is suspected.
  • We believe fulfilling the order would breach current legislation or regulatory requirements.

9. Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the registration plates supplied.

We cannot be held responsible for:

  • Incorrect information supplied by the customer.
  • Courier or postal delays.
  • Incorrect fitting after delivery.
  • Any unlawful use or modification of the registration plates once supplied.

10. Privacy & Data Protection

As a DVLA Registered Number Plate Supplier, Lycan Auto Care Ltd is legally required to collect and verify certain personal information before manufacturing registration plates.

Documents provided are used solely to:

  • Verify your identity.
  • Verify your entitlement to display the requested registration mark.
  • Process and fulfil your order.
  • Comply with our legal obligations as a Registered Number Plate Supplier.

Your personal information will be processed in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Uploaded documents are stored securely, access is restricted to authorised personnel only, and information is retained only for as long as required to meet our legal obligations before being securely deleted or destroyed.

Your information will never be sold or used for marketing purposes without your consent.

11. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any dispute arising in connection with these Terms & Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
